Let’s get social.

The Calendar

  • Description text goes hereThe CrossFit Open is a worldwide, three-week online competition that marks the start of the CrossFit Games season. Each week, CrossFit releases a new workout on Thursdays, and athletes—from complete beginners to elite competitors—have until Monday night to complete it and submit their scores. What makes the Open unique is its accessibility and community feel: workouts are designed with multiple divisions and scaling options so anyone can participate, and within our community we create in-house teams that athletes can do things like wearing their team color, participating in our big Friday Night Lights event, etc to earn points for their team.

Beyond being a qualifier for higher levels of competition, the Open is widely celebrated as a test of personal fitness, consistency, and grit, bringing the global CrossFit community together in a shared experience.

  • Each year in May, we host Project Mayhem, a free men’s community night built for all fitness levels. The focus is on effort, camaraderie, and pushing together rather than competition. After the workout, everyone hangs out, enjoys snacks and drinks, and connects with the community in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.

  • Our Summer Team Series is a 3-month community competition designed to bring people together for a fun, laid-back, and energetic summer experience.

Each team is made up of 3 same-gender athletes who will compete across three Friday night events—one in June, one in July, and one in August. Every night will feature 2–3 workouts completed together as a team, with an emphasis on communication, effort, and having fun as a group.

Workouts can be completed RX or Scaled, making this series accessible for all fitness levels and experience backgrounds. Whether you’re newer to training or a seasoned athlete, this event is for you.

This series is a great way to celebrate our community during the summer season while mixing in a little friendly competition and a lot of fun.

The cost is typically $30 per person, which includes entry into all three events and a Summer Team Series t-shirt or tank top.

Grab your team and get ready for a summer of sweat, laughs, and community energy.

  • Item descriptionJoin us for one of our favorite traditions of the year—our Annual Ugly Sweater Party!

Held at the gym on a Friday evening in December, this free community event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season together. It’s a potluck-style gathering, so bring a dish or treat to share while we hang out, relax, and celebrate another great year as a community.

During the evening, we’ll also recognize some standout moments and members as we crown Athlete of the Year, award Best Dressed, and hand out a few fun superlatives that highlight the personalities and spirit of our gym family.

This is a family-friendly event, and we encourage everyone to bring their spouses for a festive night filled with laughter, connection, and holiday cheer.

Grab your ugliest sweater and come celebrate with us—we can’t wait to see you there!

  • Throughout the year, we host a variety of free educational clinics designed to help our athletes learn, grow, and stay healthy inside and outside the gym.

We’re fortunate to have several specialists within the CFFM community—including chiropractors and physical therapists—who generously share their expertise with our athletes. These clinics offer a unique opportunity to learn directly from professionals in their fields, covering topics ranging from injury prevention and rehab methodology to pelvic floor physical therapy and movement education.

Our goal is to give athletes practical, real-world knowledge that supports long-term health, better movement, and longevity in training.

These sessions are open to all members and are a valuable way to ask questions, learn something new, and take a deeper look at how to take care of your body both in and out of the gym.

  • Each year, typically in April, we host a Women’s Night event—a fun, welcoming evening open to all fitness levels. Participants are placed on teams, usually grouped with others from similar class times, and each team wears a designated color while completing a series of fun, no-pressure workouts. After the workout, everyone sticks around to relax, enjoy snacks and drinks, and connect with the community in a laid-back, social atmosphere.

  • Memorial Day Murph is one of our most meaningful community workouts, honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

On Memorial Day each year, we run heats starting around 7:30–8:00 AM, with new waves going out every 30 minutes so everyone has a chance to participate at their own pace and level.

Murph is not about perfection or completing it “as prescribed”—it’s about showing up and honoring the day. Some athletes choose to complete the full workout with or without a weight vest, while others break it up with partner Murphs, half reps, or other scaled versions that fit their abilities.

Just as important as the workout itself is the atmosphere around it—many people stay after their heat to cheer others on, support the community, and spend time together.

We hope you’ll join us for a powerful morning of effort, gratitude, and community.

  • Item descriptionOur Battle of the Box is our biggest in-house event of the year, held every September and designed to bring our community together for a weekend of competition, energy, and fun.

This event features 2-person same-gender teams and takes place across Friday evening and Saturday morning. Teams will kick off the weekend with one workout on Friday night, followed by three workouts on Saturday morning, testing teamwork, strategy, and grit over multiple events.

Athletes can register as either RX or Scaled, making the competition accessible for all levels of experience while still delivering a challenging and exciting atmosphere for everyone involved.

While Battle of the Box has a true competition feel, it is in-house only, meaning you are competing against members of your own community. The focus is on pushing each other, celebrating effort, and bringing out the best in one another.

It’s an electric weekend, an incredible showcase of community, and an event you won’t want to miss.

  • Turkey Burpee is one of our most meaningful annual traditions—a community-driven charity event held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Each year, we come together not just to train, but to make a real impact by raising money for a local nonprofit organization.

Participants will sign up for a morning heat time, and your entry fee includes a custom event t-shirt or tank top. Every dollar raised from registrations and donations goes directly to the selected charity for that year.

While there is a workout involved, the true focus of Turkey Burpee is giving back. The workout is designed to be fully scalable for all fitness levels, so everyone can participate comfortably, regardless of experience or ability.

This event is also made possible through the support of our local business community. We are always looking for sponsors who want to partner with us to expand the impact of this event. If you own a business and are interested in giving back to the community, we would love to connect with you.

Over the years, Turkey Burpee has helped raise funds for incredible organizations such as the Denton County Children’s Advocacy Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Sparrow Collective, Young Lives, Journey to Dream, Blue Haven Ranch, as well as several local families in need.

Turkey Burpee is more than a workout—it’s a chance to come together, move with purpose, and support those who need it most.

  • Item Our Community Workouts are free, open-gym style events designed to bring people together—no membership required and no experience necessary.

Held throughout the year on Saturday mornings, these sessions are a great way for members to invite friends, family, or anyone who’s curious about trying a workout in a welcoming and supportive environment.

While all of our classes are open to guests, Community Workouts are intentionally designed to be especially approachable and beginner-friendly. The workouts focus on simple, effective movements that aren’t highly technical, making it easy for anyone to jump in.

Coaches will be on hand to help with on-the-spot scaling, ensuring every participant can adjust the workout to match their individual fitness level and feel successful.

Whether you’re brand new to fitness or just looking for a fun way to move with others, Community Workouts are all about showing up, working hard at your own pace, and enjoying the energy of a great group atmosphere.description
