CrossFit can be defined as constantly varied, functional movements at a high-intensity. No machines are used and workouts are customized to each client’s needs and abilities.
CrossFit is an evidence-based fitness program. Meaningful statements about safety, efficacy and efficiency — the three most important and interdependent facets of any fitness program — can be supported only by measurable, observable, and repeatable facts, (i.e., data). The CrossFit methodology depends on full disclosure of methods, results and criticisms, and we’ve employed the Internet as our primary means to support these values. Our charter is open source, making co-developers out of participating coaches, athletes and trainers through a spontaneous and collaborative online community. CrossFit is empirically driven, clinically tested and community developed
We offer the world's most useful definition of fitness: increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains. Capacity is the ability to do real work, which is measurable using the basic terms of physics (force, distance and time). Life is unpredictable (much more so than sport) so real world fitness must be broad and not specialized, both in terms of duration and type of effort (time and modal domains).

The beauty of CrossFit—and the foundation of our gym—is that we meet you where you are today. We start by understanding your fitness background, injuries, and limitations so we can fully support you. Every workout can then be tailored to you by adjusting intensity, reps, or movements to match your goals. That might mean scaling volume or modifying movements like biking instead of running. Above all, our mission is to help you become a healthier human while keeping you safe every step of the way.

Yes—when coached properly. Safety is our top priority. After trying a free class, we have everyone complete the CrossFit 101, where we teach proper movement mechanics. In every class the coach will scale workouts appropriately, and guide you based on your experience, limitations, and goals.

You’ll be greeted by a coach who will review any injuries, limitations, and potential modifications to ensure the workout is right for you. Every class is coach-led from start to finish—including the warm-up, strength work, workout, and cool down. Your coach is there to guide and support you every step of the way to ensure a safe and positive experience.

Our gym is coached, structured, and community-based. Instead of working out alone, you’re guided through workouts designed to improve strength, conditioning, and overall fitness in a supportive group environment. Each class is an hour and includes a thorough warm-up, some type of Strength Work (like back squats or push press, etc), Conditioning (also known as the WOD or Workout of the Day) and a Cool Down.
What sets us apart from other CrossFit gyms is our history—we were the very first affiliate in Denton County, opening our doors in 2008. With 13 classes offered each day, we make it easy to find a time that fits your schedule. Most importantly, we don’t just have you join and leave you on your own. After an initial goal-setting session, we continue to meet with each athlete every four months to check in, adjust goals, and provide additional support where needed.

Most athletes start with 3 days per week and then slowly build over time as fitness improves and recovery allows.
